ZYBrowser is compatible with Windows and macOS systems. Before installation, please confirm your system version. The following is a detailed installation guide, covering the operating steps and precautions for both platforms.

​1.  Installation steps for Windows platform​

Step 1: Download the installation package​

• Visit the official website of Zhongyi Browser: https://www.zhongyiliulanqi.com;
• Click on the navigation bar "Software Download" → Select "Windows Version" → Choose the installation package according to your system architecture (there is a tutorial on how to select the version suitable for your system below the download page).

Step 2: Run the installation program​

• Double-click the .exe file downloaded, and start the installation wizard;
• ​Installation Path​: Click "Browse" to customize the path → Click "Next";
• ​Start Installation​: Click "Install" → Wait for the progress bar to complete.

Step 3: Complete the installation​

• After installation is complete, check "Start Zhongyi Browser immediately" → Click "Finish";
• When starting for the first time, follow the prompts to log in or register an account (if already registered, you can skip this step).

​2.  Installation steps for macOS platform​

Step 1: Download the installation package​

• Visit the official website "Download Center" → Select "macOS version" → Choose the installation package based on your system architecture (there is a tutorial on how to select the version suitable for your system below the download page).

Step 2: Mount the installation package​

• Double-click the downloaded.dmg file → The system will pop up a window for mounting the disk image;
• Drag the "Zhongyi Browser" icon on the left to the "Applications" folder on the right.

Step 3: Complete the installation and set permissions​

• Wait for the copy to complete → The system prompts "Do you want to open the application?" → Click "Open";
• ​First-time startup permission​: If a security prompt pops up saying "Cannot open, from an unknown developer", you need to do the following: 
  • Go to System Settings → Privacy and Security → Allow downloads from the following locations → Select "Still want to open";
  • or right-click on the application icon → Select "Open" to bypass the restrictions.

Step 4: Login and Configuration​

• After the first startup, enter the registered account/phone number and password to log in;

​3.  Common Questions and Solutions​

​Windows​

• ​Installation failed / error occurred: 
  • Check if the installation program is running with administrator privileges;
  • Disable the temporary blocking of antivirus software (such as 360, Huorong, etc.).​
• System crashes immediately after startup​: 
  • Reinstall the system and make sure the version is Windows 10 or higher;
  • Retry after cleaning up the remaining files.

​macOS​

• ​Function malfunction: 
  • Update the system to the latest version;
  • Fix it by using the "Check for Updates" function within the application.
